Walk with us...

That elusive ‘spirit within’: is there, isn’t there? Research shows that up to 70 per cent of adults experience a profound ‘spiritual’ experience at some time in their lives; most agreed it helped them live a happier life, with less fear of death.

The Spirit Within is dedicated to create an International Friendship of people in their Third Age (60+), people who want to find how to live that happier life.

Together we can support each other through the trials and tribulations of Third Age – many Third Agers are house-bound, bed-bound; together we can rejoice in our differences; together we can even ‘make the changes we want to see in the world’ for the generations to come.

Do sign up for our occasional newsletters – you can do that at the bottom of this page. And if you have any ideas for us, or would maybe like to collaborate with us, then please drop us a note through our Contact page.

‘Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead. Walk beside me and be my friend.’(philosopher and writer Albert Camus)

‘WE ARE HERE!’

At the moment, The Spirit Within is new; it’s gathering momentum, announcing to the world, “WE ARE HERE!”.

I have three main ‘visions’: one is of an online International Friendship of support…especially perhaps to Third Agers who have to stay indoors, or even in bed.

My second is of this huge online conference centre – akin in my mind to the design of the Sydney Opera House! Here will be seminars, courses, entertainments, you name them! And all designed for us Third Agers.

The third is something akin to an online Roman Forum, or World Union of Third Agers , where we can share our differences yes, yet use the voting power of our shared agreeings to ‘make the changes we want to see in the world’, to help the planet survive, to make this world, our world, a better place for all people of all ages, everywhere.

So yes, I am looking for collaborators; affiliate-facilitators and like-minded visionaries to turn this vision into a reality.

And yes, although we are a not-for-profit, money needs to be earnt. Invoices need to be paid; and without earnings there can be no profit for the charities which I want you, fellow Third Agers, to nominate.

So…please do get in touch! Thank you…
